Dr. Gor AgababianResume
Dr. Gor Agababian is a first-generation Armenian-American who emigrated to the United States from Armenia in 1995.
He has been practicing medicine in Southern California since 2006. He is trilingual in English, Russian and Armenian.
Education
In 1994, Dr. Agababian earned his Medical Degree from Yerevan State Medical University, Armenia. Between 2002 and 2003, after successfully completing the United States Medical Licensing Examinations (USMLE),
Dr. Agababian was a research fellow at the USC Keck School of Medicine, Department of Minimally Invasive Surgery.
In 2005, he completed his two-year General Surgery residency training at Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons, the Preliminary Surgery Program. The program included six-month training in Surgical Intensive Care Unit and advanced training in trauma and urgent care.
Work Experience
Between 2006 and 2008, Dr. Agababian worked as a general practitioner at the Santa Monica Clinic, where he specialized in Family Practice and Urgent Care. Between 2008 and 2010, he was the attending physician at the City of Los Angeles Medical Service Division of Correctional Care Facilities.
In 2008, Dr. Gor Agababian started his private practice (Agababian Medical Clinic, Inc.) where he specializes in Family and General Medicine.
Since 2010, he has been employed by the Federally Qualified All-Inclusive Community Health Center, where he holds the position of Chief Medical Officer.
In 2014, Dr. Agababian was certified as a Civil Surgeon by the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS). He also has hospital admitting privileges at Adventist Health Glendale.
